Coin core barrels
Drop-in corers are used to collect rock samples from a drill hole.
Archon offers Q-type core barrels, proven in practice. They are used for drilling geological holes without the need to pull out the drill string to extract the core.
The inner core barrel pipe together with the drill core is pulled out inside the drill pipes using a gripper attached to a rope. Thanks to this, drilling progress is increased and, as a result, the time needed to complete the hole is shortened.
